Xcacel
A little information about this beach.
This beach is a bit different from the busy beaches of the Riviera Maya. This beach, known as Xcacel or Xcacelito, is a reserve area where turtles lay their eggs during the right season. Because of this, the beach is in a more natural and preserved state, and there are rules about what can be brought in, how much noise there is, etc. This is a great beach if you want to enjoy a beach day in a more natural environment. That being said, because it's in a more natural state, seaweed isn't raked away so there can sometimes be some up on the sand.
